This Oct 9-11, the Sarasota International Design Summit addresses these topics and more in Sarasota, Florida.
Hosted and co-sponsored by internationally recognized Ringling School of Art & Design, this is the first summit of its scope and kind to emerge in the southeastern region of the country.
The line-up of speakers includes: John Remington of Target and Helen Stringer of Proctor and Gamble discussing how their organizations reinvented themselves through design. Ryan Armbruster of the Mayo Clinic discusses how they applied design prinicples to create better patient experiences. John Maeda, faculty member of the MIT Media Lab, world renowned graphic and visual artist, and author of recently published The Laws of Simplicity, will speak to a better partnership between design and technology.
